About Brandi Lanai

She majored in Journalism and minored in Creative Writing. She also took Screenwriting classes in college as well as attending The Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting where she graduated from the Television & Video Production program.
Not long after graduating, Brandi started working for AirWatch Clear Channel Traffic where she reported news, traffic, and weather for Los Angeles stations like KIIS-FM, KBIG-104.3, KGGI, K-DAY and others.
In 2006, God opened a door for Brandi at Christian radio station Family Friendly 89.7 KSGN where she held positions as News Director, Music Director, Morning Show Producer, Mid-day host, and half of the Bryan & Brandi Morning Show.
Brandi’s joy and unique way of connecting with the audience lights-up the airwaves in various day parts at stations like PLR, KTSY, WGTS, and Christian Family Radio, and she was part of the WGTS team that won a Marconi Award and major market station of the year award.
Brandi’s top rated evening show in the nation’s Capitol on WGTS landed in the number one spot time and time again, not just at the station but in the market and in the hearts of countless listeners. Brandi Lanai’s show was a bright light that listeners turned to to help them reset at the end of a long day, and helped them find hope in Jesus in challenging times.
Brandi is a relatable radio-host, speaker, voice-over artist, and ordained minister. Brandi Lanai shares conversations that help listeners strengthen their faith, and encourages them to find joy in their walk with God no matter what life brings. Where there’s the Brandi Lanai Show, there’s usually record high ratings.
In 2018 Brandi graduated from Water Of Life School of Ministry and was ordained . Brandi speaks nationally at Women’s events and conferences. She has been a wife, single mom, foster mom and MéMé (grandma in French).
Brandi Lanai’s mission is encouragement. She is so grateful to God for the platform HE has given her to encourage others daily to seek HIM, trust HIM, and find joy in HIM no matter the situation life happens to be dealing them. Brandi truly believes that there is something to celebrate in every day and stands on her “life verse” Exodus 14:14 “The Lord your God will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
